We continue to enjoy the many hours of sunshine, the impressive mountain walks and the nature and culture that make this place so special. Living in Bulgaria has given us so much that we would like to share our knowledge and experiences with others.

Living in the mountains
The beautiful Razlog Valley lies between three impressive mountain ranges: the Rhodopes, Pirin and Rila. Its location is unique: only 160 kilometres from the capital Sofia and the same distance from Kavala and Thessaloniki on the Mediterranean coast of Greece.
This combination of mountains, nature and central location makes the region a special place to live, work and relax.
In addition to small, charming villages, it is also home to the famous Bansko. A charming mountain town known for the largest ski resort in Eastern Europe, its golf resort, numerous thermal baths, nature and endless hiking opportunities. Bansko has therefore been rightly named one of the trending travel destinations of 2025 by Lonely Planet.
